Robert Rueda
Robert moved to the valley in 2006 after graduating from Baylor University’s Truett Seminary. Robert’s passion is to develop and empower leaders to follow God’s purpose for their lives. Robert serves at the BSM Director and strategist for Hispanic College Ministry for Texas.
Daniel Armendariz
Daniel is the BSM Intern. He is a graduate at UTPA. He is currently working on his Masters Degree from Dallas Baptist University. Daniel is in charge of the BSM Coffee and Conversation and oversees building administration.
Daniel will be married this March to Cristal Trevino.
Tom Centrella
Tom serves as a Rio Grande Valley Intern. Tom is originally from New Jersey. Tom has a heart for missions, specially in the are of Latin America. Tom is fluent in Spanish and able to navigate cultures really well.
Tom is a Dallas Baptist University student. Tom’s responsibilities include dorm outreach and sports. One of his favorite things to do is to disciple students.
Karen Velasquez
Karen is a campus missionary. Karen enjoys hanging out with students and doing campus outreach.
Karen has been serving God for years starting in her church in Mexico and now with Semilla de Mostaza in the border area where she serves in the youth group.
Jerry Joule
Jerry serves as a campus missionary. He grew up as a missionary kid in Paraguay. He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University and got his Master’s Degree in Global Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.
Jerry enjoys teaching and talking about books. He is married to Cassidy Joule and have a 5 year old boy.
Suheily Maldonado
Suheily serves as campus missionary. She is a UTPA graduate. She has traveled to many areas of the world to be the presence of Christ. Suheily’s passion is to find ways to serve God.
Suheily loves to take pictures and to write. Apart from teaching Bible studies and doing campus outreach, Suheily works in the area of Alcance BSM state wide. She also publishes the BSM Weekly News.
