Robert and Sharon Rueda moved to the valley in 2006 after graduating from Baylor University’s Truett Seminary. They have been married for nine years and have been involved with ministry ever since. They enjoy talking to students, journey groups, hanging out, coffee gatherings, ice cream, and watching movies.
Robert and Sharon are passionate about seeing students traveling the world and experiencing God in the global context. At UTPA, they have partnered with students to go to Mexico, Japan, and Venezuela as missionaries.
Robert and Sharon had their first baby this summer. His name is Samuel and is now the youngest member of the BSM. They also enjoy reading the Bible together, sharing quotes from books they read on their own, and challenging each other to memorize Scripture.
